Resume of Federal Attorney of Environmental Protection Guillermo J. Haro Bélchez

Guillermo Haro Bélchez is a lawyer who was born in Mexico City on October 11th, 1959. He graduated from Law School by Universidad La Salle (La Salle University); he has a master degree in Public Administration by Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública of Spain, INAP (National Institute of Public Administration of Spain) and a PhD. in Law by Universidad Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, Spain (Alcalá de Henares University in Madrid).

He has an outstanding professional career in the field of Mexican Public Administration.

He was the President of the Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública of the State of Mexico (State of Mexico National Institute of Public Administration) from 1995 to 1998 and he was its Vicepresident from 1995 to 2011.

In 1986 he was granted the National Award of Public Administration by Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública, INAP and he is the author and co-author of several books on issues related to public administration.

He was also the Secretary General of Deputies Chamber of the Mexican Congress; former Secretary of the State of Mexico Government Audit Office and former Director of Administration and Finances of Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo, FONATUR (National Trust Fund for Tourism Development).
